Dr Danny Demosthenous has degrees in Science and Dentistry from the University of Sydney.
While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, his particular expertise is in wisdom teeth
removal and implant surgery. His surgical skills developed while working in the Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery department at Westmead Hospital and he is currently studying a
Masters in Implantology from Goethe University in Frankfurt.
Dr Demosthenous has been involved in a number of dental volunteering trips to Cambodia,
Ecuador, the Republic of Congo and the Philippines.
In his spare time he loves travelling, and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Dr Sandra Buchler has a degree in Engineering from the University of NSW and a degree in
Dentistry from the University of Sydney. She also has a Masters in Paediatric Dentistry from
the University of Sydney.
Dr Buchler has worked for 5 years in the Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic department at
Westmead Hospital and gained considerable experience working with children of all ages
including those with special needs. She takes an individual approach with each child to
ensure that their dental experience is fun, positive and ultimately encourages them to develop
a healthy dental attitude into their adult lives.
Dr Buchler currently provides specialist services at Forbes Family Dentists and lectures
at Charles Sturt University, Orange. Dr Buchler is passionate about volunteering and has volunteered in Cambodia, Argentina and the Northern Territory.
Outside of work Dr Buchler enjoys travelling, coffee, shopping and spending quality time
with her three children James, Franklin and Adelaide.

Dr Peter Thompson grew up in Orange and completed his dental degree at Charles Sturt
University (CSU). Dr Thompson joined our team in 2016 and he enjoys the diversity that a
family practice brings. He takes the time to make his patients comfortable, while he carefully
considers all aspects of their oral health. Always offering patients options and discussing
those options to arrive at an individual solution. He believes in working together with patients
to achieve the results they desire. He has particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and uses
high quality aesthetic porcelain to achieve flawless cosmetic results. Dr Thompson is
accredited with the Australian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics and has studied at the
Australian Society of Implant Dentists.
Dr Thompson has also helped the disadvantaged children in Cambodia through dental
volunteering and spent time with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Outside of dentistry you will find him at the pool, gym or squash courts, playing his guitar or
enjoying the company of friends and family – many of whom live here in Forbes and the
Greater West.

Miss Emily Tognetti grew up in Grenfell, She completed her degree, a Bachelor of Oral
Health (Therapy and Hygiene) at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. This course is
designed to meet the needs of regional communities by promoting and improving the oral
health of individuals and the community.
Emily has a full scope of practice in dental hygiene for all ages, and dental therapy in patients
up to 26 years of age.
Emily is passionate about creating positive attitudes towards dental health in the community,
and focuses on preventative dental care to prevent dental disease in her patients. She is also
heavily involved with the school dental health awareness program and visits schools in local
communities and presents oral health education in a fun and interactive way. If you would
